CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY

We are a proud part of the Bristol community and we love serving the South West, playing our part in our local area to make it a better place for everyone. Our remit goes beyond our scaffolding work – we strive to be the best that we can be as a company and make a tangible difference to those around us. This is why we have corporate responsibility initiatives in place and take part in projects to better ourselves and improve our industry.

Training programmes

We implement rigorous training programmes for our staff and every member of our team is highly trained. Every scaffolder, labourer, supervisor and lorry driver undertakes training and is enrolled in programmes to gain new qualifications where appropriate. Looking after our staff and supporting their development is very important to us as responsible employers.

Some of the courses and programmes of study our staff undertake are:

  • The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
  • The Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
  • The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)
  • First Aid – Appointed Person training
  • Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme

Working with local charities

As specialists in the housebuilding industry, we passionately believe that everyone deserves to have a safe place to live. We are proud supporters of the local charity Help Bristol’s Homeless, and endeavour to help them with their vital work.

We were recently involved in a project with Help Bristol’s Homeless, providing scaffolding free of charge for a building that was donated by Bristol City Council. We look forward to being able to work together again in future.

Working in the community

We are committed to employing local people and providing a better industry for scaffolders to work in, one that is well regulated and pays fairly. We’re working towards a better working environment in the whole of the South West.
